Emerald Lake
Located a little away from the town, Emerald Lake is the perfect spot for a romantic

This beautiful lake is situated in the Silent Valley, which is about 25 kilometers from Ooty
town on the way to Avalanche. As it is a little far from the town, not many tourists visit this
place. Far away from the maddening crowd, this lake is a great place for honeymoon
couples. You can enjoy some quiet time with your partner as you stroll on the grass and
explore the wooded area. You can also go trekking or mountain biking along the banks of
the lake. There are also lots of birds and flowering trees here – plenty of spots for capturing
couple photos and selfies.
